The LinkedIn Workplace Learning Trends Report 2018 stated that the number-one challenge for talent development is getting employees to make time for learning. The paradox is: 94% of employees said they would stay longer at a company if they invested in their career; yet, the number-one reason for employees feeling held back from learning is because they don’t have time.

Time is one thing a lot of employees will have right now – especially those on furlough. As such, now might be a great opportunity to dust off those Individual Development Plans and enable your people to take the time to build their skills.
