Known almost universally as “JP” to colleagues, clients and candidates alike, Jonathan is a public-sector recruitment specialist with over 25 years’ experience. As such, he’s joined us to develop our public-sector team in the North of England. Another Welshman (although, on this occasion, from the frozen wasteland of the North!), his experience also encompasses senior management recruitment for large corporates, as well as the specialist, boutique end of the market.
JP last worked with Seymour John’s founder-director, Mark Seymour, in the late 90s, and the stars have aligned once again to bring their careers together. His experience in recruiting for change and senior management professionals across the public and not-for-profit sectors is in-depth and diverse. Extensively well networked in the North West, he is known for his consultative and straight forward approach.

Outside of work, JP has recently hung up his cricket boots and replaced them with a rapidly wearing set of golf clubs. At the weekends, he can often be seen rocking the pubs of North Wales as singer and keyboard player with covers band “Dinosaur”.
