Affectionately known to her family and friends as ‘Superwoman’, Tam is a Business Management graduate whose first foray into the world of work was via an estate agency management programme. She soon discovered it wasn’t for her! A role in the accounts department of her local authority saw her complete her AAT qualification, in 2007.
Tammy spent three years in this role before taking a career break, in 2008, to bring up her two children. It was during this time she began training to pursue a career in Midwifery. She secured a job at Worcester Acute Hospitals Trust as a Maternity Support Worker, where she enjoyed a rewarding three years. The lure of Seymour John and the benefits of flexible working and a better work/life balance were just too strong for her.
That said, she works almost full time, is an amazing cook, looks after her four boys (husband and, now, three sons) and still manages to find time for three gym classes a week and a social life! We really don’t know how she does it (she ran the marathon, in 2016, for Pete’s sake!). Her boundless energy, enthusiasm and infectious personality make her the life and soul of any party. She is always the last man standing. Tammy, we salute you.
